I’ll be home for Christmas… have snow

FUN painting custom Christmas cards… this is the final approved painting to be made into 4” x 6” notecards with white envelopes…

Preliminary painting had a pale green roof and green door… and the client had me darken the roof and change the door to red as you can see above…

Here is my painting process for this design job…

I used watercolor paints, acrylic paint, ink and to create the snowing effect I applied drawing gum over my inked sketch… let it snow… or I’ll be home for Christmas…please have snow
