Time for a little April in Paris... wish I was there to paint this... instead of using photographs... le sigh!

although at home in my studio I can scan the painting into my computer and manipulate it... like adding 100% sharpness... 

 and then using the despeckle technique... FUN!

EARLY start!

Believe it or not... Fifi is working on 2013 Calendars... oui oui oui... unbelievable I know... BUT soooo necessary... and I'm starting with the Tybee Island calendar... people who vacation during the late spring/summer NEED to take home a MEMORY to keep them smiling throughout the coming year... here are a few that will be included in the 2013 Calendar...

Here are some that will be metamorphosed into paintings this week... 

A couple cottages will receive an updated version too... 

these paintings below were original made for a Tybee Island memory booklette... so they will be painted larger...

Santa Monica Table

Such a FAB day at the beach... and eating was yummy too... in honour of Tablescape Thursday... a dining post... along with my hubby, our two teen boys and our furry dog daughter Lulu we had a lite early dinner featuring delicious seafood... oui oui oui Fifi had a glass of bubbly... 

Enjoyed at The Blue Plate Oysterette in Santa Monica on Ocean Boulevard...

located across the street from the Pacific Ocean... lovely view...

We had Peruvian ceviche, grilled prawn cocktail, butter lettuce salad, delicious bread avec butter and our boys had clam chowder... one item we did not have BUT wish we did... oysters... perhaps on our next visit

Oui oui oui... dogs are welcome... they must be just outside the outdoor dining area... and they will bring doggies water in a metal bucket... Lulu liked their water and a little nibble of their delicious bread!

Sugary Good

Sorry I have not been posting... I should have let everyone know that I would be off and about for Spring Break... soooo I think I will share a few adventures... a SWEET outing included a patisserie visit...

Tomorrow morning some of these sweet treats will be nibbled while sipping café créme!
