Oooh la la a HIP table...

Isn't this a gorgeous table for our gathering today in Paris... all of these apartment photos are courtesy of Haven in Paris... and YOU can stay in one of these apartments... just contact them!!! Now... please set your purses here... give your coats to my intendant Jean Pierre...
I started off this morning at this table... planning today's menu for all of YOU...
here is what I came up with via help from Girls' Guide to Paris... flowers... bread... fresh product... some fromage...
soup de jour...
and dessert with Susan Hochbaum's help... Now... that I have everything ready for you... sit down and enjoy... Jean Pierre will be bringing all the courses and champagne will be flowing!!! I'm going to sit here put my FEET up and sketch and paint my post for tomorrow... "feet" is a clue... (this painting of a HIP apartment is available)anyway... there will be a GIVEAWAY starting tomorrow too... and the winner will be announced on Monday... ooooh do remember to visit other Tablescapes via Between Naps on the Porch!

Through the streets of Paris

Finding photos via different sites is my way of experiencing Paris VIRTUALLY... this painting was inspired by The Paris Apartment (6" x 8" painting available)... Ooooh a LOVELY way to spend Travel Tuesday! Shall we stop in this cafe for a café creme or champagne?

Blue Chair... Pink Table...

Painting a BLUE chair outside in Paris...

and this next painting was going to be up for sale too... BUT I can't part with it... the table began like this...
it received a coat of BRIGHT PINK paint... a black drawer front... and an Eiffel Tower knob...
and a black top... however... I was not happy with the Eiffel Tower knob... so I substituted it with a crystal knob... and voilà it is the perfect table for my atelier sitting area and the drawer is perfect for my paints!!!

Traveling on the Seine

Last year I painted a journey along the Seine in Paris... capturing this moment Veuve Clicquot and the Notre Dame... Recently, a visitor to my site asked we could take another journey on the Seine with VC... but could we stop in front of the Eiffel Tower... my answer was oui oui oui oui... and here is the new painting (painting available)...
